The Great Walser Trail is a multi-day hiking route that crosses some of the most picturesque Alpine valleys, divided into 11 stages across Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta and the Canton of Ticino. Each stage represents a distinct chapter of the journey, featuring ever-changing landscapes and authentic examples of Walser culture, offering an immersive experience of nature, history and traditions.

Six mountain huts in the Aosta Valley have joined forces to offer a unique itinerary, designed for hiking enthusiasts, allowing them to admire the wonders of the Italian Alps, from the Matterhorn to the Monte Rosa massif.
The full tour lasts 7 days, with optional variations, and includes an overnight stay in a different mountain hut each night, accompanied by dinners featuring local produce and Aosta Valley DOC wines.
