The mountain refuge, which has been entirely rebuilt on the old foundations, was opened in 1992. The main house has two bedrooms, each with 8 beds.There are  also 4 independent bedrooms, each with shower and toilet, in adjoining houses.

The refuge is open from the third week in June to the first week in September, and also at week ends, from spring to autumn. It is also open during the rest of the year, with the winter's exception , on request only.
